We examine the evidence, documented facts, timelines, relationships, and behavioral patterns surrounding a case. Then we ask the questions that often remain after the headlines fade.
What does the behavior tell us?
What patterns emerge when we look at the whole story?
What can we learn when we replace speculation with careful investigation?
This is not about glorifying offenders or reducing victims to characters in someone else’s story.
It is about approaching complex cases with curiosity, respect, and an evidence-led commitment to understanding human behavior.

How the Reading Room works
Inside the Reading Room is organized differently from a traditional podcast.
Each investigation becomes a Volume.
Within each Volume, individual episodes become Files, allowing us to examine different pieces of the story without rushing to conclusions.
And the investigation doesn’t end when the episode does.

The first Volume of Inside the Reading Room examines one of the most studied criminal cases in American history through a different lens.
Rather than simply retelling the crimes, The Ted Bundy Files examines the investigation, the evidence, the people involved, and the behavioral patterns that emerge across the record.
We’ll look beyond the mythology that developed around Bundy and return to what people actually knew at the time—following the evidence as the case unfolded and asking what the behavior reveals when viewed in context.
The investigation begins with File 001.
We begin by examining the early evidence, the developing investigation, and the behaviors that would eventually reveal a pattern far larger than anyone initially understood.
